The *Mirror – Face to Face* exhibition series, now being held for the eleventh time, has become a renowned and respected international event in the field of contemporary graphic art.

Between September 22 and 28, 2025 we will be welcoming visitors for an entire week with diverse and meaningful programs, joining hundreds of cultural centers and community houses across the country as part of the Community Centers Day and Night festival.

Our institution's participative space for environmental awareness, BotanicArt, located on the ground floor of Dubniczay Palace, is a refreshing alternative for visitors who prefer a museum experience. Our OÁZIS project will continue in September, running weekly on Wednesdays from 5 pm to 7 pm.

On 20 and 21 September, the European Heritage Days return once again. This year, we are also joining the initiative with the opening of the FOTOTAXIS 3. – Techno/Topia photo exhibition at the Csikász Gallery and the guided tour “Do we Preserve the Bricks, or do the Bricks Preserve us?” at the Tegularium. All our programmes will be free of charge.

New deadline 17 September 2025 LOOP SQUARE - open call LOOP SQUARE 20 Seconds that Last Forever We are seeking unique, 20-second looped moving images to be showcased in an immersive, four-walled projection space. This space itself functions as a loop—enveloping viewers in 360 degrees—while the content seamlessly loops back into itself, creating a double-loop experience.

Due to partial renovation works taking place in the collection, the gallery will be closed to visitors from 15 September to 15 November 2025. Thank you for your understanding.

On the last Saturday of August, the Japanese Centre and the House of Arts Veszprém are inviting visitors to a one-day mini festival based on the fusion of Japanese and Hungarian culture.

Our institution’s BotanicArt space, located on the ground floor of the Dubniczay Palace, is a participatory environment promoting environmental awareness—a refreshing alternative for visitors who choose the museum experience during the summer heat. Our latest project, OASIS, takes place during the construction break at the Veszprém Castle, and welcomes visitors weekly from July 16 to August 27, every Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

At the temporary exhibition "The Colours of Japan", we explore the natural and cultural heritage of Honshū—the largest island of Japan—through European eyes, accompanied by a photojournalist and an art historian.

Our international contemporary jewellery exhibition series was launched in 2023, when Veszprém was the European Capital of Culture. That year, in collaboration with Galerie Bíro, the exhibition "Delight!" was held, welcoming Europe and European artists to our city.

Márton Fernezelyi and Zoltán Szegedy-Maszák have been creating media art installations together for over a quarter of a century, often involving other co-creators in their work.
