The galleries of the House of Arts Veszprém can be found in the historical castle district of Veszprém in two separate locations. The Modern Gallery - László Vass Collection and the Csikász Gallery are located just after the Castle Gate, near the Fire Tower, while the Dubniczay Palace is on Szentháromság tér (Holy Trinity Square).

By car

Vehicle traffic in the castle is limited, but our galleries are just a few minutes' walk from the Óváros tér (Old Town Square) car park.

By public transport

The city’s central bus station is only a 10-minutes walk away.

When travelling from the train station, taking the local bus is recommended. When taking Bus No. 4, get off at the Megyeháza tér (County Hall Square) stop, while in the case of bus No. 2, the Színház (Theatre)  stop is the most convenient.

By bike
A cobbled path leads through the castle. There are bicycle stands in the courtyard of Dubniczay Palace.

Arriving in a wheelchair
Veszprém Castle can be reached via a steep cobbled driveway. Our galleries have limited accessibility.
The Modern Gallery - László Vass Collection is partially accessible.
The Tickler Gallery is accessible with the help of a mobile ramp, and a bell is used to indicate your intention to visit.
The Dubniczay Palace is accesible, and you can ask for assistance in the shop.

Blind and partially sighted visitors
There's a tactile map in the entrance hall of Dubniczay Palace on the wall next to the shop. Braille signposts help them navigate the public spaces.
In the Tegularium - brick collection, tactile bricks tell their story alongside braille inscriptions.

 People affected by autism
At the Dubniczay Palace colourful pictograms help you find your way around the new environment, and a designated rest area gives you the chance to recharge. A backpack with special and useful items can be requested at the cash desk.

But you can also bring your dog to us.
You can bring not only assistance dogs, but also pets.

For visitors with special needs, please let us know in advance so that our colleagues can prepare for their visit and ensure the best possible conditions for their participation in our exhibitions and events.
