LÁSZLÓ SZILÁGYI / LACKÓ (1966 – 2007) A retrospective exhibition of works by the painter, who had ties to both the city of Veszprém and the punk movement, was organized by the House of Arts at the Csikász Gallery.

During Hungarian Culture Week, a thematic selection compiled to mark the artist's 60th birthday features works from museum and private collections, which can rightly be considered outstanding pieces from a fragmented oeuvre rich in hectic moments.

In the hours before the exhibition opening (3:00–4:00 p.m.), we organized an Open Studio program in Lackó Szilágyi's former apartment in Miklós Street. (18 Miklós u., 8200 Veszprém)

The exhibition opened on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at 5 p.m. at the Csikász Gallery (17 Vár u., 8200 Veszprém).

Welcome speech by Gyula Porga, Mayor of Veszprém County

The exhibition was opened by Ottó Fenyvesi, József Attila Prize-winning poet, writer, and visual artist.

On the occasion of the Holtszezon/Off Season literary festival, on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 4 p.m., those interested can take part in a guided tour led by literary historian and university lecturer István Ladányi.
