Paper Print – Graphic Art Workshop

In the first part of the workshop, we view the Mirror – Face to Face Italian-Hungarian graphic exhibition on the first floor of the Dubniczay Palace, focusing on works created with paper prints. Everyone creates their own paper print to take home.

Loop Square — 20 Seconds That Last Forever, Exhibition Opening
House of Arts Veszprém / f|x|r gallery, 17 Vár utca, Veszprém
September 27, 2025, 17:00–20:00

The exhibition projects unique, 20-second looped moving images in a four-walled, immersive exhibition space. The works are selected through a competition judged by a professional jury. The space itself is a loop: it surrounds visitors 360 degrees, and the projected content continuously returns to itself—this is the experience of a double loop. The jury-selected works are presented in 3-minute rotations at the House of Arts Veszprém – f|x|r gallery.

The loop is not only a form but also an idea.

EXHIBITIONS AVAILABLE FOR VISIT:

Dezső Szabó Volcano Lab
House of Arts Veszprém / Dubniczay Palace, 29 Vár utca, Veszprém

In 2025, the House of Arts Veszprém launches a new exhibition series focusing on works in our fine art collection. For the first edition, we focus on Dezső Szabó’s Volcano, a photographic panel, exploring a branch of disaster painting related to volcanoes. The exhibition features old book rarities, 19th-century paintings by Miklós Barabás and Károly Kisfaludy, and contemporary volcano-themed works from the past 20 years, connecting the art of the past with today’s mediated visual culture.

Mirror – Face to Face, Italy / Hungary Graphic Art Exhibition
House of Arts Veszprém / Dubniczay Palace, 29 Vár utca

The exhibition presents a dialogue between 27 Hungarian and 27 Italian artists, offering insight into their creative processes, inspiration sources, and preferred techniques, balancing tradition and experimentation. The project also fosters cross-country artistic dialogue.

Techno/Topia – FOTOTAXIS 3
Csikász Gallery, 17 Vár utca, Veszprém

The visual perception of the 21st century is increasingly shaped by technical imaging and recording devices. Various cameras, drones, satellites, generative AI software, and other systems capable of creating images influence how we perceive reality and imagery. Through selected artistic practices, the exhibition explores how technology reshapes our concepts of reality and images, creating its own utopias and dystopias.

Exhibitors: Csilla Kőműves, Richárd Kiss, Viktor Varga – Lilla Váczi, Balázs Deim, Dávid Bíró, Emese Toldi, Levente Ákos, Domonkos Tamás Németh
The invited exhibitors are graduates of MOME, METU, and MATE, and members of FFS. (Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest, Budapest Metropolitan University, Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Studio of Young Photographers)

Beyond Time / Csaba Molek’s Photo Series on János “James” Karácsony
House of Arts Veszprém / Dubniczay Palace, 29 Vár utca

Photography and music can each tell stories—but what happens when they meet? Csaba Molek, photographer, and János “James” Karácsony, the legendary musician (LGT), present a collaborative exhibition exploring this question with personal, emotion-filled works.

The exhibition shows not only images but also relationships, moods, and traces of friendship. Molek’s camera has followed James on and off stage for years. These are not traditional concert photographs, but stories captured through a journalist’s perspective.
