Tömöry's The Daughters of Mrs Bodón is not a novel in verse...

"...He mentions a free verse somewhere, a film and then a screenplay. What the three good friends are preparing. And indeed: one could even take The Daughters of Mrs Bodó as a film script. With transitions. With dreams. Nightmares, fantasies, the bloody reality itself... From Hungarian to Romanian, sometimes to German. Because, really, we are in Transylvania... Which Transylvania, his homeland, the past half century Tömöry knows very well and depicts very accurately. Tearing it apart, ripping it up, sometimes gently, sometimes hard as stone, but in the end (still) - as authentic as possible. ..."
