The Pythagoreans teach: closer to God is the one who proves himself/herself worthy of remembrance, who makes a dedicated effort to remember. Mnemosyne, the goddess of remembrance, is a woman; she gave birth to nine daughters as the fruit of nine nights of passionate and sensual love with Zeus. Nine girls ..., the muses ...

So memory has an inherent connection with the woman, the feminine. Memory, of course, by virtue of its plasticity, is always in contact with, mixes with and transmutes into other meanings: oblivion, forgiveness, the mystery...

Memory can exist and flourish in the possession of those who seek to preserve its value, but who also succeed in making it a practice. If this is the case in the world, in Europe, in Hungary, it is also the case in Veszprém. Memory is good for cities. The more it is materialised and embodied, the richer it becomes.

The kind reader has Klára Tungli's book in his/her hands: if he/she reads it, he/she will get a possible reading of serenity and sensitivity in Veszprém, a series of experiences. It is a true revelation: anyone who understands the word will find pleasure in the book, whether young or at the age of experience involved in the grace. This is a women's book: for women, for men. For women as an affirmation, for men as a warning:
