Noisebox is a living instrument—an audiovisual spatial installation brought to life not by quiet contemplation, but by noise, rhythm, and play.

At the center of the space, an analog drum kit awaits the visitor—each beat unleashes raw energy that instantly reshapes the audiovisual atmosphere in real time. In this way, the audience becomes the creator, transforming the gallery into either a joyful playground or a cosmic vortex.

After Berlin, Cairo, Košice, Bratislava, and Budapest, Noisebox arrives in Veszprém, once again taking on a dual role: both a captivating spatial experience and a sharp institutional critique. The rules are reversed—art can be touched, and noise is no longer a disturbance, but a performative medium, a fundamental building block of the piece.

Noisebox reveals that creative expression is not the privilege of artists alone, but a natural, instinctive human drive. Each drumbeat reconnects us with the pure, unfiltered joy of childlike discovery.

In an era of shrinking and constantly surveilled public spaces, this exhibition becomes a temporary zone of freedom, where spontaneity, experimentation, and playful disorder take the lead. In the spirit of both artistic and critical traditions, Noisebox makes a radically simple statement:

Freedom begins where we dare to play.

Every beat pulses with a question:
If free self-expression had a sound, what would it be?
