In this exhibition, Gábor Gáspár captures the fleeting gestures of contemporary dance and the subtle nuances of human presence. Taken between 2020 and 2025 during performances at the Veszprém International Contemporary Dance Festival, the photographs are both personal observations and sensitive documents of their time.

The black-and-white and colour photographs together form a unique visual diary, capturing the intensity of movement, the fragility of stage presence and the expressive power of dance. More than simply documenting performances, the images also reflect Gábor Gáspár’s relationship with photography – the attention and sensitivity with which he transforms the intensity of a fleeting moment into a lasting visual experience.
