"Earth, water, air, horizon, zenith. Tamás Kopasz gets in tune with the universe, grabs it by the scruff of the neck and pulls it onto the canvas. His brush dances to Handel. He writes the melody again and again. The rhythm leaps, the paint splashes, it stings here, it flows softly there. His heart is tender, but his arm is strong. The baroque polyphonic is calculated, proportioned and counterpointed with a scattering and assembling of notes. The performance is emotional, improvisatory. The baroque soothes and stirs, calms and inspires action, sheds light and plunges you into a dark pit.

Tamás Kopasz counterpoints, adding decorative splashes of colour to the canvas. Waits. The paintbrushes run wildly, always from the top down: "the horizon is Zenith with me", he says. "I have to fight an even fiercer savage and I don't know yet if I can beat him." With his brush he destroys all decorativeness.
Is it possible to play pogo to baroque music? Yes, it is."
