Egri is a colourful, multi-faceted personality and alongside television and ice hockey we now showcase one of his less well-known passions: art collecting.
Almost without exception, his collection includes works by artists with whom he has developed a personal relationship and friendship. He knew personally the most influential Hungarian artists of the second half of the 20th century.
Our selection features works by Jenő Barcsay, László Bartha, Sándor Bortnyik, Dezső Czigány, Béla Czóbel, Pál Deim, Jenő Gadányi, Tihamér Gyarmathy, Tamás Hencze, Józsa Járitz, Béla Kádár, Lajos Kassák, János Kmetty, Tamás Konok, János Mattis Teutsch, Max Bill, Nicolas Schöffer, Hugó Scheiber, Victor Vasarely.
