Sky - Light - Image

The starting point for the exhibition Sky - Light - Image is András Lengyel's work Sky over Italy /1989-90, c-print/. In the exhibition works of fine art (graphic works, analogue photographs, digital images, video works, etc.) on the theme of the sky are organised around this work. The meeting of the celestial and the mechanical/machine-based/image is part of the theme, otherwise the fusion of transcendence and rationality through art.

In addition to well-known artists the exhibition also presents former and current students and teachers of the Budapest Metropolitan University. In this way, the educational results of the university's art institute become visible, and they join the projects implementing the continuation of the art-exhibition concept created during the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture program in 2023.
