Almost two thirds of the ninety-seven works on show were made using this technique. Interestingly some of the artists' works were accompanied by sketches. Most of the works on show have been added to László Vass's collection in recent years.
The clear use of form and colour, the reduced use of materials which has already characterised László Vass's collection is even more predominant in this exhibition. Simple forms and pure colours radiate order and calmness to the visitor.
The exhibition includes works on paper by such prominent representatives of constructive concrete art from Hungary and abroad as Jenő Barcsay, István Haász, Tamás Konok, Jesús Rafael Soto, Josef Albers, Günter Fruhtrunk, Carlos Cruz-Diez, Max Bill and Günther Uecker. The exhibition also includes works by Sean Scully, László Lakner and Tony Cragg.
