The 80-year-old artist-teacher has taught generations of students in Veszprém to draw, paint and most importantly to see.

He started working in our town in 1961 as a teacher of drawing and geography and in the '70s he was a drawing supervisor in Veszprém County. In the 1980s as an external collaborator of the National Centre for Educational Technology he illustrated English, German, French Geography and Mathematics textbooks and produced a series of geography banners for overhead projectors.
He has illustrated magazines and poetry books (Tamás Szokoly, Huba Búzás, Erika Kanyár), made posters, etchings, needlepoint drawings and linocut prints. In recent years he has mainly been creating acrylic and oil paintings.
He has had 49 solo exhibitions and participated in about 220 group exhibitions at home and abroad. In 2010 and 2014 he won the first prize at the National Ajka Exhibition.
His large-scale background paintings can be seen in the Zalaszántó Monumental Mill and in the buffalo reserve in Kápolnapuszta.

The exhibition is open until 24 November 2019.
