Csaba Molek (Salgótarján, 19 September 1960)
He began photographing at the age of 12. From 1979 to 1985 he lived in Los Angeles. After returning to Hungary he started his own business and also worked as a freelance cameraman for Hungarian Television and Duna Television. In 1994 he opened his renowned photo studio in Salgótarján. His main field to this day is concert photography. He has worked for numerous world-famous bands with whom he has maintained personal contacts up to the present day.
Among others he has photographed such internationally acclaimed musicians as Jon Lord, Robert Plant, Steve Lee “Luke” Lukather/Toto, Tony Iommi, Steve J. Morse, Steve Howe, Dweezil Zappa and Miyavi. Over the years and decades he has also worked with symphonic musicians as well as János “James” Karácsony, Charlie, Gábor Presser, Károly Frenreisz and Jamie Winchester. He has been awarded an honorary title by the County Council of Nógrád and received the Pro Arte Prize of the Municipality of Salgótarján. He has taken part in numerous exhibitions in Japan and Korea, where his work has been recognised with major professional awards.
