Since 1969, he has lived in the Szentendre Artists' Colony. Founding member of Szentendre Graphic Workshop and Artéria Galéria Cultural Association.

László Hajdú painter's In Space and Time temporary exhibition at the Modern Art Gallery - László Vass Collection presents compositions from various periods of the artist's career.

His geometric abstract paintings are built from points and lines. He considers himself a painter without objects, primarily concerned with the representation of space. The densely grooved curves or diagonally running grids of lines on his canvases create dynamic compositions. The geometric forms sometimes carry associations with architectural elements, and the surfaces, enriched with engravings and applications are transformed into spatial objects. His works can be found in the Hungarian National Gallery, the Ferenczy Museum, the Paks Gallery, the Kolozsváry Collection in Győr and the Modern Art  Gallery - László Vass Collection, among others.
