Selection from the collection of Carl-Jürgen Schroth

Carl-Jürgen Schroth's exhibition of more than one hundred international and German contemporary works will focus on European and North American concrete, constructivist, minimalist and conceptual works from 1950 to the present day.

Established in the 1980s the collection contains 700 works by more than 120 artists, and is made up of donations and artist deposits. The Stiftung Konzeptuelle Kunst, a foundation set up in 2014 to manage the collection also runs a space dedicated to international contemporary art at the Wilhelm Morgner Museum in Soest, called RAUM SCHROTH. In addition to thematic exhibitions from the collection or related to current art themes, solo exhibitions are regularly organised, often with site-specific concepts and installations.
