The author of this book of short stories and a short novel lives, teaches and writes in Ajka. This is the second in his series of volumes followed by others after its publication.

The lines in the Hideaway Brooks by the author of the compilation carry one - among other - significant traits. Alongside the double catharsis, that of the writer and the recipient, the embeddedness in culture, there is a tingling in the writings of a sometimes abstract, sometimes quite concrete "great longing" from everyday and small reality. Other landscapes, other times and other moralities or value attachments are reflected in the works. With Tibor Horváth, of course, we should focus on something other than longing: he wants us to realise that the landscapes we long for, the times we haunt, the moral and aesthetic veins that sustain us are close and minute away. As the title of the book says:Hideaway Brooks.
