A recurring keyword in the book is nostalgia, the healthy recollection of memories. These are often visionary, magical or the content of the author's recollected dreams. The speaker, the storyteller often winks at us when she reveals connections to classic Hungarian or world literature in her or in our lives.

This book by Klára M. Tungli is actually an autumn volume. When the Sun is in Virgo, Libra or Sagittarius, we experience a time of harvest, balance and hope. But we can also think of Scorpio, when we are hit by great losses and while living with them, we have the strength to move on to uplifting things to do. These include when we can share with her opinion that public life needs to be monitored, that it is necessary to take a responsible view of it.

The reader will therefore find this opus a philosophical read. One that is nevertheless imbued with light and wry humour. This humour is sometimes made more sympathetic and authentic by the self-irony.

Nadi and Lara is recommended for everyone. A consolation for those of the same age as the author; a great preparation for younger people on how to carry themselves until they reach the age the author is now.
