The serenity and lightness that characterise all the poems. They play - if you like - with words, letters, linguistic units, and as a result they play with the reader, entertaining them.

It was obviously worthwhile to add to the common output with a cycle of their own based on the same approximation. Nyírfalvi publishes a collage cycle at the beginning of the book entitled Variations on Birch Trees. The final cycle/collage is by Debreczeny under the title Variations to gy. d.

Both the cover and the artwork were created by the two authors.
