Imre Péntek's book of essays and criticism entitled The Worn-out Paper Museum provides an overview of recent art exhibitions in North Transdanubia. The compilation includes reviews and analyses of major exhibitions as well as articles on important artists and their oeuvres.

We can get acquainted with the contemporary art life of our visual region through the glasses of the poet and editor-in-chief, who has been promoting and interpreting the works of painters, sculptors and applied artists associated with the Great Region for decades - Árgus (1990), Pannon Tükör/Pannon Mirror (2003).

This volume is Imre Péntek's second collection of writings along these lines. The previous one was entitled Visual Adventures. In this volume we can go on excursions with the author to Fejér, Somogy, Veszprém and Zala counties if we feel like focusing our attention on visual arts. Among the large and collective exhibitions we can read some guided tours of the most prestigious and unconventional series.
