This book is the second volume of György Bodosi's short stories.

The stories were written in different years and set in different times and landscapes. For this reason it can be seen as a continuation of the previous volume. But it is also because they are a mixture of the real and the extraordinary, the mythical and sometimes grotesque.

Born in the capital in 1925, the poet experienced dramatic, sometimes almost mythical, turns of events there, later as a rural doctor. The kind of tragedies of ancient times that occur in such conciseness. Our century, which has just passed, was full of such events. Yet the characters of the seemingly real elements depicted in the book are all fictional characters. They are as much the product of the author's imagination as the mythical elements that make the events more twisty...
