A life journey unfolds from the poems in this volume: the journey of a man leaving his village behind, trying his luck in the city, but unable to find a home.

The journey of the poetic self, of the poet-hero could be considered unsuccessful (the closing poem of the volume describes it as such), but in the poems we can see its rich yield: the complex emotional world, the sometimes acerbic, sometimes serene wisdom and the ceaseless quest to understand himselfself, the other, the world.

There is not only a resigned sadness or an angry indignation, but also a love of life and humanity, a forgiving humour in the way Gábor Domján presents our fallibility (his own and others'). And in the condensed space of lyricism, the unrepeatability and the uniqueness of our lives are revealed, which memory - as a recurring motif of the volume - can only preserve for a time or an hour. Writing is something longer. (book's blurb)
