From the back cover of the book:

"The stories made available here are taken from Radio Jam's former Fairytale City series read by Csaba Hordós. The ephemeral sounds have now become permanent letters and are offered in book form to all those for whom the magic of fantasy still means something...

The natural connection to a city's traditions, past, history and culture can be a fertilising force. The author, Csaba Hordós has followed this principle in a strange, new approach, replacing the cultivation of known traditions with another way: the storybook, which is enjoyable for big children and adults alike is a stylistically ironic presentation of the buildings, customs and landscape of the town, Veszprém, which bears the typical vision and formal style of Csaba Hordós. Transfiguration is also present in the sense that the author places fictional stories in the past, in the environment of old Veszprém. In this way, a new myth of its own emerges on the pages and this is seen as a new possibility of connection for those who live here and have a different relationship to this region."

The book is richly illustrated by the excellent illustrations of Boldizsár Hordós.
