The residents of the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service's Adoption House participated in 15 suitable art therapy sessions led by Ágnes Quirin, graphic artist and art therapist, from January 2023 on a weekly basis until 12 May. The sessions were conducted using the Katarzis Complex Art Therapy Method and resulted in watercolours, pastels, etc. and clay works which will be on display at the exhibition.
One of the aims of the project is to use the healing power of art as a resource for the people living in the House of Inclusion. As a by-product of the process the participants have developed future goals: some have got a job in the process, others have started embroidering again. Another aim of the project is that the exhibitions, linked to the European Capital of Culture events, will allow the majority of the population to discover the hidden values of the artists who are facing hardship. The project will also promote social inclusion, as it will help to reduce prejudices through art and through knowledge.

The project will be accompanied by workshop sessions for primary and secondary school students during the exhibitions and a forum/workshop for the general public in the Jutasi Kötsér in the autumn as a public event.
The programme is supported by the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture project.
