János Géczi is an Attila József Prize-winning poet. He describes himself as a subject poet and the reception often uses this label for him, which also justifies this classification. The author of the book has also established himself in Hungarian literature in other genres, as he has produced notable works in essay and prose and has appeared from time to time. Géczi has a thousand links with Veszprém, as is shown by the publication of his book A Thousand Veszprém Sunsets in 1999.
As a poet his titles are all spot on; they are evocative, evocative and therefore also excellent as book recommendations. Here is a list of poems and writings from the book "A City Wrapped in Wind", which gives a good idea of what we can find in the elegantly presented compilation: Observatory, My Globe -lightning, Shame, Garlic Liver Slices with National Salad, The House to Live in, Veszprém Statues, Veszprém Cats, Veszprém Essay, (veszversprém), Private Book, Angel's Shell, Veszprém, 1994., Gun Permit, Exhibition, The Ghost Wife, To the Sunsets, Noise Story, On Paper, Fugue Variant, Trace, Veszprém.
The cover of the book is based on an image from Endre Kovács's Slow View series.
